Now Reiki combines the wisdom of Echart Tolle as written in the Power of Now and the Energy of Usui Reiki.

USUI SHIKI RYOHO REIKI

Power

You are looking at the Now Reiki Power Symbol. It means to increase power or switch on.

Your draw the symbol 3 times in your hand or visualize it 3 times to consciously switch on the universal energy of Reiki.

Draw from the top left, then down. Next spin the line around the staff to wind it up.

Healing

This symbol is used for healing, protection, purification, and clearing.

It also can be used for emotional healing. In combinations with other symbols it can be used to cleanse or charge crytals.

It reminds me of the head sculptures of Easter Island. For direct healing use the power symbol combined with the healing symbol. Then you can use the many hand positions to send the energy.

You can also just hold you hands a few inches away from the body. Reiki doesn't sweat the details. It will do not harm and not go anywhere it is not welcome.

Your intent to heal and help others is more important than technic.

Stillness

This symbol I call stillness. It is a departure from Traditional Reiki and at the core of Now Reiki.

It is composed of five sub symbols. The bottom part is like a wave for water. Next up is the curve of a flame for fire.

Further up is the swirl of wind or air. Above that is a mountain, also the character of man. Finally on top the a bent character for Pi. This is oneness, spirit or beyond time.

So to read it from top to bottom you have One Spirit, earth, air, fire, water. The four elements brought together under the symbol of beyond time.

And what is the meaning of all this? The symbols is used for distance healing. It means that Now Reiki is beyond time and space. The universal energy of Now Reiki is everywhere now.

For distance healing, combine this symbol with the power and healing symbol. Visualize the person you are trying to help.

Now Reiki will work on animals too.

Master

The Master or Teacher symbol is used for attunements and healing.

Note the power Godess spiral and tiny lightning bolt inside.

It can add even more focus and energy to your healings. It also works to increase immune energy.

To charge or clear crystals use the master, then healing, stillness, and power symbols while holding the crystal.

Attunement

This symbol is called Raku. It means elightenment.

It is used by a Reiki Master to for Attunements. This can help someone open up to the Now Reiki univeral energy. As the energy of the Master and student are joined Reiki energy can lift the negative karma from the attunement receiver.

The enlightenment of universal energy in the Now.

.....You can know your true self when the mind is still. When you are in the state of presence, your attention is fully and intensely in the Now. It can never be understood mentally and yet it is your natural state. Finding that your true nature is beyond the labels and judgements of the mind is the end of suffering. No self, no problem.
A present mind releases you from the illusion of separation and, allows you to regain the awareness that is Enlightenment......When you are in this state, you are connected to everything, and everyone. More than that, you are the connection. Inability to feel this connection can cause you to imagine yourself as an incomplete fragment. Life becomes you against the world.

.....You become driven, searching for completion from outside or lost in hopeless despair. Your mind-made self-image creates the fear and conflicts. Thoughts become compulsive reactions against your illusions. The mental noise keeps you from finding the stillness of presence. Nonstop thinking is the suffering we can all overcome. If you can't find the stillness in life, it is because your mind is using you. You are not your mind. You are not the one thinking. Your mind is only a small aspect of a vast intelligence. All things that truly matter are beyond the mind. When you realize that you are the consciousness that observes, you awaken to the beauty, joy, creativity, inner peace, and love. When this higher level of consciousness is accessed, you can watch the thinker and know the freedom from the mind. The mind can die. You will not.
